Lacock Family Photo shoot

At the beginning of Febuary I was asked to photograph a family as a generation shoot. This shoot was planned for ‘mums’ 60th Birthday present. I was informed it was rare to get all the family together and this is what inspired the family to have the photographs taken on this day.

I suggested Lacock for the shoot which seemed a popular choice.
We met a chilly Sunday morning with the remains of snow on the ground. The shoot took just under an hour and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We got some great family shots too!!!!!

During the shoot unbeknown to us Rich Kenington a local race photographer snapped a shot of us, it wasn’t until I returned and looked on Facebook that evening that I found out. Rich said he was on his return to the car after a race and saw us through the tree and know it would make for an interesting shot. It just proves what a small world we live in! I would like to thank Rich for a copy of his photo, its rare someone gets my in front of the camera!

The New Year brings my new blog!

Happy New Year!!

Today is a very exciting day for me, reading this now you are witnessing my brand new blog – look it matches my website!

This year I will make fall use of blogging and will update my followers and fans with the latest gossip on Kate Hateley Photography. Writing has never been my area of expertise but luckily photography has. This blog will be updated on a regular basis featuring photo shoots and weddings.
